Film editor. Born in 1950 in Akureyri, Iceland. She graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 1991, majoring in editing.

Valdís Óskarsdóttir is an Icelandic film editor, known for her work on Festen (Thomas Vinterberg, 1998), Sveitabrúðkaup (written, directed and edited by Valdís Óskarsdóttir, 2008) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry, 2004) for which she won the BAFTA award in 2005.
