Susanna Ericsson is a Swedish born, now New York City based, Film Editor with 13+ years of entertainment industry experience. She has made numerous film- and television trailers and promos for clients such as HBO Max, Netflix, Disney, Hulu, Focus Features, FX/FXX, TBS, ABC, CBC etc.
After studying theatre at Kulturama in Stockholm, Susanna moved to USA in 2006, where she studied Film, TV and Digital Media at UCLA. Right after film school she wrote, directed, and edited The Timing of Love (2012), a short about loving someone when the timing is all wrong.
After having lived in Los Angeles for 17 years she moved to New York City in 2023, to be closer to Europe and being able to travel more easily for work.
Besides being a film editor, she also has extensive experience in directing and interviewing talent. She is the creator of a video for neuroscientist Sam Harris, Sam Harris on Consciousness, The Self, Meditation, Psychedelics, Gratitude, and Being in the Now (2024), as well as What Will Your Verse Be? (2022), featuring comedian and podcaster Marc Maron (of WTF with Marc Maron) and former New York Times film critic A.O. Scott. Currently (2024), she is developing a new television series, The Interview Project, which seeks to answer the questions of who we are and what it means to live a human life.
